DESTRUCTION OF ARMY MATERIEL TO PREVENT ENEMY USE

PREPARATION FOR STORAGE OR SHIPMENT
Detailed procedures for preparing the reverse osmosis water purification unit for storage or shipment are con-
tained in TB 740-97-4, Preservation of Vessels for Storage and TM 38-470, Storage and Maintenance of Army
Prepositioned Stock Materiel. These systems must be prepared for storage or shipment in accordance with that
publication. Additional instructions can be found in WP 0010 00.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
Unit maintenance maintains records of the warranty status of equipment on the ROWPU system. The warranty
starts on the date found in block 23 of DA Form 2408-9 (Equipment Control Record). Report all defects to your
supervisor, who will take appropriate action.
