2. ENGINE CRANKS BUT WILL NOT START
Step 1. Check if there is fuel in fuel tank.
Diesel fuel is combustible. Provide a metal-to-metal contact between the fuel tank and fuel container
before and during the fueling operation.
a. If fuel tank is empty, fill with diesel fuel (item 9, appendix D). If tank was run dry, engine may not
start due to air trapped in fuel filters or lines (notify organizational maintenance).
b. If fuel tank is not empty, go to step 2.
