TEST OR INSPECTION
Check wiring harness for bare spots causing short circuit.
Check wire 90A (ground lead) for continuity. Disconnect intervehicular cable assembly from towing
vehicle. Attach multimeter red lead to pin D (1) and black lead to terminal end. If continuity is not
present, attach ground lead terminal and check again.
ONE OR MORE (BUT NOT ALL) LAMPS FAIL TO LIGHT
Check for burned out or defective lamps.
Check wiring for loose connections and broken wires.
Disconnect intervehicular cable assembly connector and check for loose, dirty, or corroded con-
tacts and terminal assemblies.
Dry cleaning solvent, P-D-680, is toxic and flammable. Always wear protective goggles
and gloves, and use only in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and
clothes, and DO NOT breathe vapors. DO NOT use near open flame or excessive heat.
The solvent's flash point Is 10OF-138 F (38 C-59C). If you become dizzy while
using cleaning solvent, immediately get fresh air and medical help. If solvent contacts
eyes, immediately wash your eyes and get medical aid.
