g. REMOVAL OF RELAY QUICK RELEASE VALVE
Tag air lines for installation.
Disconnect air lines from inver-
sion valve (21), relay quick re-
lease valve (1), tee (14), and
Remove inversion valve (21) and
nipple (20) from relay quick re-
lease valve (1).
Remove tee (14), tee (15), and
Remove nut (16) and starwasher
from terminal stud (18). Remove
relay quick release valve (1) and
terminal stud from support bar
Separate relay quick release
valve (1) from terminal stud (18).
Remove elbow (24) and plug (19)
from relay quick release valve
h. INSTALLATION OF RELAY QUICK RE-
Ensure that air lines do not rub
against each other or any other sur-
face when installed. Relocate or pro-
vide support, as required. If air lines
rub, a leak may develop, resulting in
brake lockup and possible serious in-
jury or death to personnel.
All male threads of fittings should be
coated with antiseize tape if not al-
ready factory-coated with an antiseize
Install elbow (24) and plug (19) to relay quick release valve (1).
Install terminal stud (18) to relay quick release valve (1).
Install terminal stud (18) to support bar (17) with starwasher and nut (16).
