TORQUE ROD (MTVT) REPLACEMENT - Continued

INSTALLATION
NOTE
Left and right side torque rod are installed the same way. Right side rear shown.
Steps (1) through (4) require the aid of an assistant.
1.

Position two self-locking nuts (1) on torque rod (2).
3.
Tighten two self-locking nuts (1) to 598-730 lb-ft (810-990 Nm).
4.
Remove trestles from trailer.
OPERATIONAL CHECK
1.
Install tires (on side worked) (WP 0045 00, Tire Installation).
2.
Couple trailer (WP 0009 00, Coupling Trailer).
3.
Operate trailer and check for normal operation (WP 0011 00, Towing Trailer).
4.
Uncouple trailer (WP 0012 00, Uncoupling Trailer).
5.
Inspect torque rod for secure installation.
