SUBFRAME RAIL (MTVT) REPLACEMENT - Continued

REMOVAL - Continued
WARNING
Subframe rail weighs approximately 170 lbs (78 kgs). Attach a suitable lifting
device prior to removal of collars and bolts. Failure to comply may result in
injury to personnel or damage to equipment.
CAUTION
When removing bolts, continuous removal of collars is mandatory. Failure to comply
may result in seizing of collar to bolt.
NOTE
Steps (2) through (4) require the aid of an assistant.
2.
Remove two collars (6) and bolts (7) from front mounting plate (8). Discard collars and bolts.
3.
Remove nine collars (9) and bolts (10) from frame plate (11). Discard collars and bolts.
