FRAME RAIL (MTVT) REPLACEMENT - Continued

INSTALLATION
WARNING
Frame rail weighs approximately180 lbs (81 kgs). Attach a suitable lifting
device prior to installation. Failure to comply may result in injury to
personnel or damage to equipment.
NOTE
Steps (1) through (4) require the aid of an assistant.
1.
Position frame rail (4) on front crossmember (8) with four screws (17) and self-locking nuts
(18).
2.
Position frame plate (14) on frame rail (4) with 20 screws (19) and self-locking nuts (20).
Tighten 20 self-locking nuts (20) to 77-92 lb-ft (105-125 Nm).
3.
Tighten four self-locking nuts (18) to 210-225 lb-ft (285-305 Nm).
