AXLE BOGIE (MTVT) REPAIR - Continued

OPERATIONAL CHECK
1.
Install tires (side being worked) (WP 0045 00, Tire Installation).
2.
Couple trailer (WP 0009 00, Coupling Trailer).
3.
Operate trailer (WP 0011 00, Towing Trailer).
4.
Check axle bogie for oil leaks.
5.
After first three months of trailer operation, tighten self-locking nuts on U-bolts in increments of 50
lb-ft (68 Nm) to 390-510 lb-ft (530-690 Nm) in sequence shown.
