Reposition crosstube (7) so that adapter bottom is tight to front
bumper (19).
Remove two 16 ft (5 m) safety chains (20) from stowage.

Route one safety chain (20) over axle No. 1 (21) of disabled vehicle.

Hook safety chain (20) together in front of axle No. 1 (21).

Repeat steps (20) and (21) for other side of axle No. 1 (21).
