a. REMOVAL
NOTE
M514 has two shackles at rear of trailer. M390C has four shackles; two at front
and two at rear of trailer.
To remove M514 shackle, perform
steps 1 and 2.
To remove M390C shackle, perform
step
1. Remove cotter pin (1) from straight pin (4).
Discard cotter pin.
2. Remove straight pin (4), flatwasher (2), and
shackle (3) from frame.
3. Remove nut (7) and flatwasher (6) from bolt (5).
4. Remove bolt (5) and shackle (3) from frame.
