Check to see if air is present

Loosen service brake vent
at service brake air chamber
air hose at spring brake air
of affected wheel(s)/brake(s)
chamber.
when brakes are applied.
2.
Start towing vehicle engine.
3.
Allow brake air pressure to
build up.
4.
While assistant depresses
brake pedal, check for
presence of air escaping at
service brake vent air hose
at spring brake air chamber.
5.
Shut down towing vehicle
engine.
