INSTALLATION - Continued
8.
Apply grease to rollers (19) on wedge assembly (1).
CAUTION
Ensure wedge rollers are aligned with slots in adjusting plunger and anchor plunger.
Firm pressure is required to fully seat wedge in plungers. Failure to fully seat wedge in
plungers may result in damage to equipment.
9.
Install wedge assembly (1) in back of plunger housing (2).
OPERATIONAL CHECK
1.
Install brake air chamber (WP 0057 00, Installation).
2.
Install brake shoes (WP 0055 00, Brake Shoe Installation).
3.
Couple trailer (WP 0009 00, Coupling Trailer).
4.
Unchock wheels (WP 0008 00, Unchocking Wheels).
5.
Operate trailer (WP 0011 00, Towing Trailer) and check for proper brake operation.
