INSTALLATION - Continued
CAUTION
Apply towing vehicle full brake pedal before and during tightening of collet nut. Failure to
comply may result in damage to equipment.
NOTE
Steps (16) through (19) require trailer to be coupled with towing vehicle and the aid of an
assistant.
16. Couple trailer to towing vehicle (WP 0009 00, Coupling Trailer).
17. Apply brake pedal and continue holding until steps (18) and (19) are accomplished.
18. Hand tighten collet nuts (6 and 13) against plunger housings (7 and 14).
19. Tighten collet nuts (6 and 13) 3/16 turn (1 1/2 teeth).
