ELECTRICAL WIRE AND CABLE REPAIR - Continued

REPAIR OF CABLES WITH MULTIPLE CONDUCTOR PLUG CONNECTORS
1.
Remove insulation sleeving (1) from cable (2). Discard insulation sleeving.
2.
Extract electrical contact (3) from plug body (4).
3.
Strip insulation (5) from wire (6) to equal depth of well in electrical contact (3).
4.
Position insulation sleeving (1) on cable (2).
5.
Crimp electrical contact (3) on wire (6).
6.
Install electrical contact (3) in plug body (4).
7.
Heat shrink insulation sleeving (1).
OPERATIONAL CHECK
1.
Couple trailer (WP 0009 00, Coupling Trailer).
2.
Operate trailer and check for normal operation (WP 0011 00, Towing Trailer).
3.
Uncouple trailer (WP 0012 00, Uncoupling Trailer).
