V-ROD CONTROL ARM (MTVT) REPLACEMENT - Continued

REMOVAL
CAUTION
Do not remove more than one V-rod control arm at a time.
Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.
NOTE
Front and rear V-rod control arms are removed the same way. Rear shown.
1.
Raise rear of trailer and place trestles under axle brackets (1).
NOTE
Steps (2) through (4) require the aid of an assistant.
2.
Remove four bolts (2) from two ends of V-rod control arm (3).
3.
Remove self-locking nut (4) from V-rod control arm fitting (5). Discard self-locking nut.
4.
Remove V-rod control arm (3) from trailer.
