REAR SHOCK MOUNT CROSSMEMBER REMOVAL, MTVT - Continued
CAUTION
When removing bolts, continuous removal of collars is mandatory. Failure to comply will
result in seizing of collar to bolt.
NOTE
Left and right sides of rear shock mount crossmember are removed the same way. Right
side shown.
Steps (1) and (2) require the aid of an assistant.
1.
Remove four collars (20) and bolts (21) from rear lifting beam (22). Discard collars and bolts.
2.
Remove seven collars (23) and bolts (24) from rear lifting beam (22). Discard collars and bolts.
