FRAME RAIL (MTVT) REPLACEMENT - Continued

REMOVAL - Continued
WARNING
Frame rail weighs approximately 180 lbs (81 kgs). Attach a suitable lifting
device prior to removal of collars and bolts. Failure to comply may result
in injury to personnel or damage to equipment.
CAUTION
When removing bolts, continuous removal of collars is mandatory. Failure to comply will
result in seizing of collar to bolt.
4.
Remove 20 collars (12) and bolts (13) and frame plate (14) from frame rail (4). Discard collars
and bolts.
5.
Remove four collars (15), bolts (16), and frame rail (4) from front crossmember (8). Discard
collars and bolts.
