b. Inspect.
(1) Check condenser coil (1) fins for dents, bent edges, or any condition that would block or distort air flow.
Straighten all damaged fins.
(2) Should a leak or major damage be evident, notify supervisor.

FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE:
Connect power at power source.

Solenoid Valve Coil
a. Test.
(1) Tag and disconnect wire leads from the solenoid valve coil (1).
and 2. If continuity is not found, the coil is open and must be replaced.
(3) Check for continuity between each solenoid valve (1) terminal 1 and 2 and coil casing. If continuity is found
the coil is shorted and must be replaced.
(4) If continuity checks are satisfactory, apply 28 volts dc across solenoid valve coil (1) terminals 1 and 2. Listen
for a sharp click when the valve changes position. If a click is not heard, internal valve problems are
indicated and the entire valve should be replaced. Notify supervisor.
