Flush.
Flush the refrigerant system with refrigerant R-114. Procedures for flushing the system are as follows:
(a)
Connect the two filter-drier fittings with a jumper, locally manufactured from refrigerant tubing and fittings.
(b)
Connect a line from the discharge line in the unit to the discharge side of pump.
NOTE
The R-114 may be recirculated if run through a 10 micron filter.
An unused refrigerant desiccant dehydrator or other suitable
medium may be used as a filter.
(c)
Connect a line containing a filter to the suction line in the unit. The other end of the line should discharge into
a small drum or suitable reservoir.
(d)
Connect a line to draw from the bottom of the reservoir to the inlet of the pump.
