GETTING UNDERWAY ASTERN FROM BERTH
WARNING
Ensure all engine hatches are closed and secured while
boat is under operation. Failure to comply may result in
injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
The following procedure is performed with port side toward
berth and bow toward sea. If starboard side is toward berth,
the procedure is the same except the opposite steering
direction and scoop and throttle/transmission controls are
used.
1. Start engines (WP 0012 00).

CAUTION
Avoid running the boat over ropes or lines. Ropes and lines
can be drawn into hydrojets. Failure to comply may result in
damage to hydrojets.
2. Cast off all lines.
3. Turn STEERING WHEEL (1) to starboard direction.
