These models of engines include Military standardized parts and are built to conform with Military Specifications
NOTE:
MIL-E-11275-D,
MIL-E-11275-C,
MlL-E-11275-B
or
MlL-E-11275-A.
The only difference
between MlL-E-11275-D
and MlL-E-11275-C
built enqines is;
the
omission
of
the
fuel
tank,
fuel filter and their mounting components in the MlL-E-11275-D specification.
The basic differences between the MIL-E-11275-C
and MlL-E-11275-B
built engines, is the modification of the
ignition system to accommodate Military standard spark plugs and ignition wires, as well as a Military standard
air cleaner.

and MlL-E-11275-B
specifications,
MIL-E-11275-A
with the principal physical difference being the height of the engine from the bottom of the mounting feet to the
centerline of the crankshaft. This dimension is 9" for MIL-E-11275-A spec engines and 9-1/8' for MlL-E-11275-C
and MIL-E-11275-B engines. Refer to Sectional Drawing Fig. 3.
