WARNING
Do not operate winch with a shear pin other than the
aluminum alloy pin shown in the parts list for winch
being used. Always stand clear of the winch cable
under load. A snapped cable can cause serious injury.

From underneath truck, check shear pin (1) in universal joint yoke (2) and
winch shaft (3) and make sure that it is the aluminum alloy pin called for in
parts list.
