Turn the air service cutoff cock (1) and the emergency cutoff cock (2) left to
1.
the side position to open them.
2.
Pull hand operated air brake control lever (3) down to check air brake system.
Air should be heard passing through air service system.
Move air brake control lever (3) to off position.
3.
CAUTION
If air flow is not heard, check hose connections and positions
of cutoff cocks . If they are correct, tell organizational
maintenance.
