(8) Remove two M977 front adapters (11) from crosstube (7) and place on
equipment body floor (12).
(9) Remove lock handle (13), lock plate (14), and two M966 front tow
adapters (15).
(10) Install two M977 adapters(11) removed from crosstube, lock plate (14),
and lock handle (13).
(11) Remove two M966 extensions (16) from stowage.
(12) Remove two 12-ft (3.5 m) chains from stowage.
