(8) Remove two adapters (11) from crosstube (7) and
body floor (12).
(9) Remove lock handle (13), lock plate (14), and two M1008 front tow
adapters (15).
(10) Install two M977 front adapters (11) removed from crosstube, lock
plate (14), and lock handle (13).
(11) Remove two 5-in. (127 mm) spacers and two 12-ft (3.5 m) tow chains
from stowage.
