(8) Remove two M977 front adapters (11) from crosstube (7) and place on
equipment body floor (12).
(9) Remove lock handle (13), lock plate (14), and two M1008 strap
adapters (15).
NOTE
All four chains are the same.
(10) Remove four 12-ft (3.5 m) chains from stowage.
(11) Remove two 4-in. (100 mm) spacers and two 5-in. (127 mm) spacers
from stowage.
(12) Install two M977 front adapters (11) removed from crosstube, with lock
plate (14), and lock handle (13).
