OPERATION
DRIVING
When driving the towing vehicle and trailer, the overall length of the unit must be kept in mind when passing other vehicles
and when turning. Backing is also affected because the unit is hinged in the middle. Backing should not be attempted when
more than one trailer is towed in tandem.
TURNING
When turning corners, allow for the fact that the trailer wheels turn inside the turning radius of the towing vehicle. Make right
turns by driving towing vehicle approximately halfway into the intersection and then cut sharply to the right. This will keep
trailer wheels off the curb. Keep the vehicle close enough to the edge of the road to prevent any following vehicles from
attempting to pass on the right.
