NOTE
The heater power cable and thermostat cable are replaced the same way. This task can
be used for either cable.
a. REMOVAL
1.
Unplug cable (1) from service receptacle (3) and heater.
2.
Tag wires (2) and remove plug from wires. Plug is furnished with heater and must be retained for installation.
INSTALLATION
b.
1.
install plug on wires (2) and remove tags.
Plug cable (1) into service receptacle (3) and heater.
2.
FOLLOW-ON TASKS:
q Connect
110-volt power to semitrailer.
Check operation of heater (para 2-18).
