c . Turn release tool (3) 1/4 turn counterclockwise to unlock from manual release
Remove release tool (3).

Install plug (4) on air brake chamber (5).
Insert release tool (3) in mounting hole (6) in air brake chamber (5).

Secure release tool (3) with washer (2) and nut (1).
Repeat steps b. through e. for remaining air brake chambers.

g. Remove and stow chock blocks.

Removal.

( 1 ) Tag and disconnect two air lines ( 1 , f i g u r e 4 - 3 2 ) f r o m a i r c h a m b e r ( 6 ) .
( 2 ) Remove cotter pin (2) and clevis p i n ( 3 ) .
R e m o v e clevis from slack
adjuster.
