( 1 ) Set chock blocks opposite t h e set of wheels being removed.
( 2 ) Loosen, but do not remove t e n l u g n u t s ( 1 , f i g u r e 4 - 3 9 ) .
( 3 ) Jack up axle until wheels ( 2 a n d 3 ) a r e c l e a r o f t h e g r o u n d .
T h e semitrailer frame and both axles m u s t b e f i r m l y
supported to prevent shifting of the s e m i t r a i l e r .
Shifting may cause serious injury to personnel and
damage t o equipment.
( 4 ) Support the s e m i t r a i l e r a x l e s a n d f r a m e w i t h j a c k s t a n d s .
