Tire and wheel removed (para 4-43).
Dry cleaning solvent (Item 14, Appendix E)
Air reservoir pressure drained (para 3-9).
One gasket
One seal

Three Iockwashers
General mechanic's tool kit
Eighteen locknuts
Jackstand
Wheel bearing wrench

REMOVAL
a.
1.
Place jackstand under end of axle when hub and brakedrum are to be removed. Remove floor jack.
Remove three screws (1) and Iockwashers (2), Remove hubcap (3) and gasket (4) from hub (8), Discard
2.
Iockwashers and gasket.
Straighten tab on keywasher (6). Remove nut (5), keywasher (6), and nut (7).
