GENERAL
The trailer is designed for use in a wide range of conditions. The paragraphs in this work package
provide the data and procedures to be used by the Operator when operating the trailer in extreme heat.
OPERATION IN EXTREME HEAT
NOTE
Extreme temperature is defined as temperatures in excess of 100 F (38 C).
1.
Do not park trailer in sun for long periods of time as heat and sunlight will shorten life of tires and
will cause paint to pit and/or blister.
2.
During extended shutdown periods, cover trailer with canvas (if available) to protect it from heat,
sun, and dust.
