GENERAL
The trailer is designed for use in a wide range of conditions. The paragraph in this work package provide
the data and procedures to be used by the Operator when operating the trailer in salt water areas.
OPERATION IN SALT WATER AREAS
1.
The trailer can ford water to a depth of 60 in. (152 cm).
2.
Salt water will cause metal parts to rust and corrode. Trailer must be cleaned (WP 0046 00,
Cleaning Trailer) and lubricated immediately after salt water fording, or as soon as tactical situation
permits. Notify Field Level Maintenance if corrosion is found.
