LIFTING BEAM ARM REPLACEMENT - Continued

LIFTING BEAM ARM INSTALLATION
NOTE
All four lifting beam arms are installed the same way. Left front shown.
Step (1) requires the aid of an assistant.
1.
Position lifting beam arm (2) in cargo bed (3).
2.
Install lanyard (6) on lifting beam arm (2) with bolt (5) and self-locking nut (4).
3.
Install lifting beam (2) on cargo bed (3) with two pins (1).
Tighten self-locking nut (4) to 23-29 lb-ft (31-39 Nm).
