TONGUE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT - Continued

INSTALLATION
WARNING
Tongue assembly weighs approximately 290 lbs (130 kgs). Attach a suitable
lifting device prior to installation. Failure to comply may result in injury to
personnel or damage to equipment.
NOTE
Left and right side tongue assembly are installed the same way. Left side shown.
Step (1) requires the aid of two assistants.
1.
Install tongue assembly (2) on frame rails (10).
NOTE
Steps (2 through 5) require the aid of an assistant.
2.
Position tongue assembly (2) on front mounting plate (9) with four bolts (11) and self-locking nuts
(12).
3.
Position tongue assembly (2) on lifting beam (6) with four bolts (13) and self-locking nuts (14).
Tighten four self-locking nuts (12) and (14) to 210-225 lb-ft (285-305 Nm).

Perform steps (2 through 4) on right side of trailer.
