2-7. GENERAL OPERATING PROCEDURES
a. Before operation
(1) Check to see that power cable has been connected to a source of 208 volt, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50/60
hertz power, and to the input power connector on the unit.
CAUTION
Do not perform the operational check in COOL mode until input power has been
supplied to the unit for at least four hours. Liquid refrigerant tends to migrate into the
operating. Under moderate climatic conditions, the compressor heater will normally
"boil" all liquid refrigerant out within a four hour period. If the air conditioner has been
exposed to below freezing temperatures without input power, an eight hour warm up
period is recommended.
(2) Check that fabric cover has been unsnapped, rolled up, and secured with both straps to the two
turnbutton fasteners.
