AIR CONDITIONER FAILS TO OPERATE
1.
Verify that power cable is connected to proper voltage.
Step 1.
Connect power cable to receptacle.
Check to be sure that Control or COMPRESSOR CIRCUIT BREAKER is ON.
Step 2.
Reset circuit breaker.
Step 3.
Make sure that Mode Selector switch is not in OFF position,
Turn selector knob to desired operation,
Step 4.
Check that high and low pressure switches have been reset,
Reset pressure switches and wait for compressor to start,

INSUFFICIENT COOLING
Step 1,
Check to be sure that Mode Selector switch is properly positioned,
Set switch to COOL,
Make sure that Temperature Selector switch is set correctly.

Adjust setting to COOLER,
Determine that sufficient air is passing across evaporator coil by placing a piece of

paper in front of the evaporator inlet louver. The paper should be held against the

Open evaporator inlet louver blades. Remove any obstructions from evaporator
inlet and outlet louvers.
Make sure that there is not too much outside air entering unit.
Step 4.
Close or adjust damper door.
Check liquid sight indicator to see whether there is sufficient refrigerant in the

If sight glass is not full and clean, report to Direct Support Maintenance personnel.
Check to see whether Evaporator Fan Speed switch is set at LOW speed.
Step 6.
Reset switch to HIGH speed.
