Open compressor high and low pressure service valves.
f.
Loosen blue hose at compound gauge port and allow refrigerant to purge for 3-5 seconds, then tighten.
g.
Loosen red hose at pressure gauge port and allow refrigerant to purge for 3-5 seconds, then tighten.
h.
The service manifold is now installed, purged and ready for test of maintenance operations.
FOLLOW ON PROCEDURES
a. When all testing is complete, install compressor section panel (paragraph 4.24).
b. Connect air conditioner input power at source.
