Installation.
(1)
See Figure 4-1. Secure heater (1) to base of floor (or wall) using 1/2-20 bolts of suitable length.
WARNING
Do not operate your space heater in an enclosed area unless exhaust gases are
piped to the outside. Inhalation of exhaust fumes will result in serious illness or
death.
During operation, exhaust pipe becomes hot enough to cause combustion of wood
or other flammable building materials. Provide adequate fireproofing insulation
between the exhaust pipe and wall to prevent fire.
(2) Connect an exhaust pipe (2) from the heater to the outside of the enclosure.
Seal exhaust pipe with
anti-seize compound (Item 1, Appendix E).
