M1088 TRAILER HANDBRAKE CONTROL DOES NOT OPERATE (CONT).
If air is not present, perform Air Troubleshooting j4C. No Air Pressure Present at M1088 Rear
and/or Fifth Wheel Service Gladhand(s).
Step 2. Inspect air hoses for kinks, damages, and leaks.
(a)
Inspect air hose from trailer handbrake control to park control two-way check valve.
(b)
Inspect air hose from trailer handbrake to personnel heater grommet.
(c)
Inspect air hose from trailer handbrake to cab floor fitting.
(d)
Inspect air hose from cab floor fitting to air brake protecting valve.
If any air hose is kinked, damaged, or leaking; notify Unit Maintenance.
Step 3. If M1088 trailer handbrake still does not operate, notify Unit Maintenance.
AIR SYSTEM PRESSURE BUILDS UP MORE THAN 120 PSI (827 KPA) (COMPRESSOR
FAILS TO UNLOAD).
Notify Unit Maintenance.
Notify Unit Maintenance.
M1088 REAR GLADHAND(S) LEAKS OR DOES NOT OPERATE.
Notify Unit Maintenance.
M1090/M1094 TAILGATE RELEASE DOES NOT OPERATE.

TIRES WEAR UNEVENLY OR EXCESSIVELY.
Check tire pressures with tire gage for each CTIS setting.
