Step 4. Lower cab (para 2-28b).
WANDERS, PULLS TO ONE SIDE, OR SHIMMIES.
Step 1. Check wheel studs and lugnuts for obvious looseness.
WARNING
Notify Unit Maintenance that lugnuts need to be tightened to 415-475 lb-ft (563-
644 Nm) as soon as possible. Wheel may come loose if lugnuts are not
tightened to proper torque. Failure to comply may result in serious injury or
death to personnel.
If loose, tighten.
Step 2. Check for bent or broken studs and missing or loose lugnuts.
Step 3. Check tire pressures with tire gage for each CTIS setting.
(a) Notify Unit Maintenance if tire pressures do not match those given below:

If vehicle still wanders, pulls to one side, or shimmies, perform Suspension System
Troubleshooting (r1. Wanders, Pulls to One Side, or Shimmies).
CAUTION
Do not overfill power steering reservoir. Failure to comply may result in
damage to equipment.
Check that steering reservoir is filled to proper level. Oil should be level with full mark on
dipstick.
Change 1
