Remove screw (15) and clip (16) from siderail (8).

Remove cotter pin (11) and clevis pin (10), and disconnect clevis (9) from handbrake lever (12). Discard
cotter pin.
Remove two nuts (6), Iockwashers (7), bolts (13), bracket (14), and handbrake cable (2) from siderail

(8). Discard Iockwashers.
b. INSTALLATION
NOTE
Both handbrake cables (2) are installed the same way. This procedure covers one
handbrake cable.
Position handbrake cable (2) on trailer, Install handbrake cable and bracket (14) on siderail (8) with two

bolts (13), new Iockwashers (7), and nuts (6).

Connect clevis (9) to handbrake lever (12) with clevis pin (10) and new cotter pin (11),
Install clip (16) on siderail (8) with screw (15).
