GENERAL
The semitrailer must be inspected systematically to ensure that it is ready for operation at all times. Inspection will allow
defects to be discovered and corrected before they result in serious damage or failure. This section contains a tabulated
list of preventive maintenance checks and services. All deficiencies and corrective actions taken will be recorded on DA
Form 2404.
Do your (S) PMCS once each 6 months.
Do your (A) PMCS once each year.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
If something doesn't work, troubleshoot it with the instructions in this manual or notify your supervisor.
Always do your PMCS in the same order, so it gets to be a habit. Once you've had practice, you will spot something
wrong in a hurry.
If anything looks wrong and you can't fix it, write it down on your DA Form 2404. If you find something seriously wrong,
report it to direct support as soon as possible.
WARNING

cautions.
