SCOPE.
a. Type of Manual. Operator's, Organizational, Direct Support, and General Support Maintenance
(Including Repair Parts and Special Tools Lists).
b. Model Number and Equipment Name. Semitrailer, Flatbed: Radar Set and Launching Station,
M860A1.
c. Purpose of Equipment. Used for the transport of the Patriot Missile System launching equipment and
for the transport and operation of the search/track radar set.

MAINTENANCE FORMS, RECORDS, AND REPORTS.
Department of the Army forms and procedures used for equipment maintenance will be those
prescribed by DA Pam 738-750, The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS).

PREPARATION FOR STORAGE AND SHIPMENT.
For information on preparing the semitrailer for storage and shipment, refer to Chapter 4, Section XIV.

REPORTING EQUIPMENT IMPROVEMENT RECOMMENDATIONS (EIRs).
If your semitrailer needs improvement, let us know. Send us an EIR. You, the user, are the only one
who can tell us what you don't like about your equipment. Let us know why you don't like the design. Put it on
an SF Form 368 (Product Quality Deficiency Report). Mail it to us at: Commander, U.S. Army Tank-
Automotive Command, ATTN: AMSTA-MP, Warren, Ml 48397-5000. We will send you a reply.
