a.
(1) Set chock blocks opposite the tire(s) being removed.
(2) Remove jack from towing vehicle.
WARNING
Jack must be positioned directly under axle to prevent
slippage. Direct all personnel to stay clear of
vehicle when vehicle is supported in the air. Failure
to do so could result in serious injury and damage to
equipment.
(3) Position jack under axle closest to where tire(s) will be removed (fig. 3-
Figure 3-7.
