4-36. REAR PLATFORM (cont)
INSTALLATION
1.
Block platform so that holes in hinges are alined with holes in van body.
2.
Secure hinges to body with screws and washers.
3.
Position upper attach plate and chain and secure with screws and washers.
4.
Secure platform in position with quick release
pins.
REMOVAL OF CHAINS
1.
Using bolt cutters, remove link connector at each
end of chain.
2.
Remove chain and tubing.
INSTALLATION OF CHAINS
1.
Install tubing on chain.
2.
Aline two ends of link connector at each end of
chain and peen together.
