Install slotted nut (19) onto capscrew (20). Using a torque wrench, 1-1/8-inch socket, and 1-1/8-inch combination
wrench, torque slotted nut (19) to 205 lb-ft (278 Nm). Tighten slotted nut (19), additionally as required, to aline first
available slot with hole in shank of capscrew (20) and install special pin (18).
NOTE
To install a nonsteerable connecting link, perform steps 7 thru 14.
7.
Lubricate preformed packing (14) with grease and install under connecting link (5) rod end at linkage attaching point
on fixed platform mount (13).
8.
Lubricate preformed packing (17) with grease and install with ring spacer (16) and sleeve bushing (15).
9.
Install capscrew (12) from underside through connecting link (5) rod end and rigid platform mount (13).
