B. COOLANT HEATER SWITCH GUARD AND AIR
A. COOLANT HEATER INSTALLED
TUBE REMOVED,.
FLAME DETECTOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY REMOVAL
IGNITER REMOVAL
1. REMOVE 4 SCREWS AND FLAME DETECTOR
1. REMOVE END PLATE FROM HEATER BY
SWITCH GUARD.
LOOSENING 4 NUTS AND TURNING PLATE
2. REMOVE 1 NUT, GROUND WIRE AND WASHER,
COUNTERCLOCKWISE.
2. DISCONNECT IGNITER POWER LEAD STRAP.
3. DISCONNECT 5 WIRES FROM FLAME DETECTOR
3. DISCONNECT IGNITER GROUND WIRE AND
MICROSWITCH.
INSTALL
SCREWS
IN
BEND THE WIRE SO IT WILL FIT INSIDE A DEEP
MICROSWITCI TERMINALS.
SOCKET.
4. USE 1/2" OPEN END WRENCH TO LOOSEN
4. USE 13/16 DEEP SOCKET TO REMOVE IGNITER.
COMPRESSION NUT UNDER FLAME DETECTOR
USE CARE TO AVOID DAMAGE TO IGNITER
SWITCH.
FILAMENT.
5, LIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY STRAIGHT OUT OF
BUSHING TO AVOID BENDING TUBE AND
OVERHEAT SWITCH REMOVAL
BREAKING CERAMIC ROD.
1. REMOVE 4 SCREWS AND FLAME DETECTOR
ADJUSTING FLAME DETECTOR SWITCH
SWITCH GUARD.
REFER TO FIGURE 9-137.
2. DISCONNECT 4 ELECTRICAL LEADS FROM
OVERHEAT SWITCH TERMINALS.
3. REMOVE SCREW AND LOCK WASHER FROM
CENTER OF OVERHEAT SWITCH COVER TO
REMOVE COVER.
4. LIFT SWITCH OFF HEAT EXCHANGER.

REPLACING
UNSERVICEABLE
COMPONENTS AS REQUIRED. CONNECT
WIRING AS SHOWN ON WIRING DIAGRAM,

OLD SWITCH ASSEMBLY TO SUPPORT
MAINTENANCE FOR REPAIR AND RETURN
