b. INSPECTION.
1. Inspect the air filter for damage such as perforations or punctures in the screen
and aluminum foil mesh that could permit passage of unfiltered air.
2. Inspect for areas of packed or crushed mesh material that would obstruct airflow
through the filter.
3. Check air filter for bent frame. Straighten impossible without crushing mesh
material.
4. Replace air filter if crushed, punctured, or badly bent.
