Access. Access to the unit for routine operation and servicing and for necessary maintenance action. See
Figure 4--2.

Power Source. A source of 208/230 volt, 1 phase. 60 Hertz input power. The power source outlet should
be located as near as possible to the installed location. The power source must include a disconnect
switch. However, provisions should be made to ensure that power is not disconnected during normal
operation and that the disconnect is not used to turn the unit off for normal shutdown.

Ground. An earth ground.

Fumes. Check that no source of dangerous or objectionable fumes is located near the fresh air intake.
g.
Terrain Features. If possible, make use of terrain features such as trees and buildings to provide a shaded
location. This will minimize the cooling load on the air conditioner.

Avoid Problem Areas. If possible, avoid locations where the condenser and fresh air intakes will be laden
with dust, dirt, soot, smoke, and/or other debris
